Welcome to ProvocativeTherapyTraining.com

endorsed by Frank Farrelly, the creator of "Provocative Therapy".

"I created this site to be a central resource to discuss the training aspect of Frank Farrelly’s extraordinary therapeutic approach. In 2006 Frank reconfirmed that there will be no formalised certifications in Provocative Therapy, but that it is, however, entirely possible to learn the principals, behaviours, strategies and skills that produce a skilled Provocative Therapist." - Nick Kemp

Dr Graham Dawes describes Provocative Therapy in the following way

“The first impression is that Farrelly is crashing through all the conventions of psychotherapy, and the fall of so many false idols can be too much for many people. However, they come to recognize that not only does Farrelly care for the clients but that the clients are usually very well aware of this. As bits and pieces of Farrelly's psychotherapeutic background and the extent of his experience emerges (a breadth of experience few psychotherapists can match) then even those uncomfortable with his approach have to recognize that it has been forged at the very heart of the psychotherapy tradition.”

When I first met Frank I became acutely aware that there was in my opinion an almost criminal lack of information about this therapeutic approach. In recent years I have worked closely with Frank to create a series of Provocative Therapy DVDs, CDs and articles, both of Frank himself, and also including the "Provocative Change Works for Phobias" DVD set of my own work. This has narration from Frank himself about what is occurring therapeutically in two of my client sessions, and can be found on the sister site www.provocativetherapy.info which is the central international resource of information for PT.

My own journey to become a trainer in Provocative Therapy has been fascinating and I am delighted to now be able to extend training opportunities for others who are also keen to discover this revolutionary therapeutic approach.
